Description:
The First Tee in Santa Barbara is a youth golf program for boys and girls, ages 7 to 17, that provides introductory, intermediate, and advanced golf instruction for junior golfers.

Goals:
Provide golf instruction coupled with life skills, which make up our 9-core values. We introduce one core value at each of our 9 weekly sessions. Sessions begin with a brief talk on our "Curb of Knowledge" about how these core values can be used in golf and in life.

Activities:
Putting, chipping, and full swing practice with occasional practice on the course. Our philosophy is to keep kids active and not waiting. We have a variety of activities and a number of coaches and volunteers to make this possible. Sessions are divided into smaller groups, which participate in all activities on a rotational basis. Our format was developed to promote as close to a one-on-one instruction experience as possible.

Ages:
7 to 17. Younger students by coach/ parent arrangement.

Cost:
$125 per session, $75 per additional sibling.
